Souvlaki is so relatable, it’s easy to understand its ever-lasting appeal. This satisfying recipe uses our custom seasoning—a blend of oregano, paprika and some cinnamon in the background—to transform ground beef patties with Greek-inspired flavours. Instead of a pita, each slider goes into a bowl with its familiars: feta-topped salad with cucumbers and tomatoes, golden wedges of oven-roasted potatoes and last but never least, tzatziki.

Roast the potatoes
Preheat the oven to 450°F. Cut the potatoes lengthwise into ½ inch wedges. On a lined sheet pan, toss the potato wedges with a drizzle of oil; season with ½ the spice blend and S&P. Arrange in a single, even layer and roast in the oven, 20 to 25 minutes, stirring and adding ½ the garlic halfway through, until browned and tender when pierced with a fork.

Prepare the slider patties
While the potatoes roast, in a large bowl, crumble ⅓ of the feta with your hands. Add the ground beef, panko and remaining garlic; season with the remaining spice blend and S&P. Gently mix to combine. Using your hands, form the mixture into 6 patties of equal size (double for 4 portions).

Cook the slider patties
In a medium pan (non-stick if possible), heat a generous drizzle of oil on medium. Working in batches, if necessary, add the patties* to the pan and cook, 2 to 4 minutes per side, until browned and cooked through. Transfer to a plate and set aside in a warm spot.

Mise en place
While the patties cook, cut the tomatoes into 1-inch wedges. Juice ½ the lemon and halve the remaining ½. Halve the cucumbers lengthwise; thinly slice into half-moons on an angle. In a large bowl, combine the lemon juice with 3 tbsp olive oil (double for 4 portions); season with S&P to taste.

Make the salad & serve
To the bowl of vinaigrette, add the tomatoes, cucumbers, baby greens and remaining feta; toss to combine. Divide the tzatziki between your bowls and spread out in a circular motion. Top with the garlic potato wedges, sliders and salad. Serve with the lemon wedges on the side. Bon appétit!
